This course is designed as an introduction to motorcycle riding for people with limited or no riding experience. The course is designed to develop safe street riding skills. The course consists of classroom preparation and intensive motorcycle riding activities which provide maneuvers and demanding situations encountered in everyday street riding.

This course is a requirement for all applicants under the age of 21, in order for them to obtain a motorcycle license endorsement, regardless of riding experience. Participants must be 15 years and 9 months old to take this course, and have a valid driver's license or have had the restricted license for at least 12 months.

This course is approximately 18 hours of instruction, consisting of one evening and two days of classroom and range activities. Classes are held both for the weekends and during the week as follows:

WEEKEND CLASSES
THURSDAY
from 6:00pm to 9:00pm
SATURDAY from 7:00am* to 4:00pm
SUNDAY from 7:00am* to 2:00pm

IN-WEEK CLASSES
WEDNESDAY from 7:00am* to 5:00pm
THURSDAY from 7:00am* to 5:00pm
